Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie, L.L.C. is seeking a Planner/Scheduler to collaborate with preconstruction, project management, and field teams on developing and managing project schedules. Projects are based in Charleston, SC or Savannah, GA.

Responsibilities include leading detailed schedule development, tracking progress, and analyzing delays. The role requires 3+ years in construction scheduling, CPM software proficiency, and strong communication skills; travel or relocation may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of scheduling experience on construction projects preferred.
• Cost and resource loading required.
• Knowledge of critical path method scheduling (CPM).
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience using CPM scheduling software.
• Familiarity with claims prevention and analysis techniques strongly preferred.
• Ability to conduct constructability reviews for varying construction methods during design or construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of detailed project schedules with input from project teams.
• Collect project progress and update project status.
• Perform impact analysis for potential delays and changes.
• Work with project management and field teams to set project goals and analyze status.
• Analyze schedules for duration and logic issues.
• Manage schedules for multiple/large projects.
• Provide guidance to junior schedulers.
• Travel and/or relocation may be necessary depending on project needs and location.
