Job summary

X Energy, LLC seeks a Construction Quality Engineer (CQE) to lead QA/QC oversight across multiple packages, ensuring compliance with CQMP, ITPs, and project specifications. The role operates independently from production teams to preserve objectivity in quality processes.

The CQE will guide nonconformance management, audits, and documentation, and will implement quality plans at the construction site while coordinating with subcontractors and the client to uphold safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Requires a BS/BA in civil engineering, construction management, nuclear engineering or similar.
• Experience leading QA/QC in construction projects; ASQ/ISO 9001 familiarity preferred.
• 5–10 years in quality assurance/control for complex construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA/QC oversight across multiple work packages and ensure compliance with CQMP and ITP.
• Advise site leadership on risk, trends, and quality improvements.
• Guide nonconformance handling, records management, and audits.
• Implement TRISO-X quality plans at construction site.
• Prepare method statements, test plans, and quality procedures.
• Maintain QA/QC documentation and ensure audit readiness.
