Job summary

Cherokee CRC, part of Cherokee Federal, seeks a Construction Quality Control Inspector to lead on-site QC activities, supervise contractors, and coordinate inspections. The role requires a strong background in federal construction, a security clearance, and the ability to maintain daily QC reporting to clients.

Responsibilities include field supervision, daily reporting, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in a construction-related field preferred.
• 8 years of experience with a related degree or 12 years applicable experience in federal government construction, including leadership as QC Officer/Specialist.
• Secret Security Clearance required.
• Ability to pass background and security checks.
• Experience performing QC on multiple projects concurrently.
• CQM certification preferred.
• OSHA 30-hour training required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Comply with company motor vehicle policy.
• Able to present professional image at all times.
• Self-motivated and independent worker.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) proficiency required.
• Ability to communicate with Fed Gov Quality POC.
• Knowledge of construction methods and materials; all divisions 1–48.
• Ability to read blueprints and provide edits.
• Knowledge of Fed Gov/DOD Quality Reporting Systems (QCS/RMS).
• Hands-on attitude with field work.
• Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal

Responsibilities

• Set example on-site for quality and safety policies.
