Job summary

JP Government Solutions seeks a Construction Manager to oversee on-site construction for turnkey installation of two 21,000-ton chiller plants, from mobilization to commissioning. You will coordinate mechanical, electrical, civil, and piping work, ensuring compliance with schedules, codes, and safety standards.

A bachelor’s degree in a related field and 10–15 years of experience in large facilities are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent experience).
10–15 years of construction management experience in large facilities.
Experience delivering central utility/chiller plants or large HVAC projects.
OSHA 30 certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

Plan, manage, and oversee on-site construction for mechanical, electrical, civil, structural, controls, and piping systems.
Execute project per turnkey contract documents, drawings, specs, and schedules.
Support development and maintenance of detailed construction schedule with Project Manager.
Enforce HSE plans and OSHA compliance.
Ensure work meets quality standards, manufacturer requirements, and codes (IBC, NEC, ASME, ASHRAE).
Manage subcontractors and field crews, including coordination and issue resolution.
Support pre-functional testing, system startup, and commissioning.
Serve as primary construction contact with Owner representatives, inspectors, and AHJs.
