AECOM in Orange, CA is seeking a Senior Construction Inspector to perform advanced field inspections of electrical installations for traffic signals and street lighting. You will lead a team of engineers and support staff on public-rights-of-way projects.

Minimum BA/BS with 8 years of experience, valid driver's license, and US citizenship required. California PE or ICC inspection credentials are preferred, along with AML verification experience and OSHA 30 training.

Competenze

• BA/BS + 8 years of related experience or an equivalent combination.
• Valid driver's license required and ability to pass MVR check.
• US Citizenship is required for this role.

Mansioni

• Perform continuous field inspection of electrical installations including traffic signal poles, mast arms, foundations, street lights, pull boxes, conduits and detector loops.
• Inspect foundation excavation, rebar placement, concrete pours and anchor bolt alignment per Caltrans/County standards.
• Oversee trenching, backfilling, subgrade compaction, and resurfacing for underground electrical utilities in public rights-of-way.
• Verify wiring, splicing, conductor color coding, grounding systems and service cabinet/meter main hookups.
• Conduct pre-installation material inspections to ensure products match submittals and AML requirements.
