Job summary

Ausland Group oversees construction projects in Southern Oregon, directing field crews and coordinating labor, materials, and equipment to meet schedules in Grants Pass and Eugene. The Foreman ensures safety, quality, and efficient execution of work on diverse sites.

The role reports to the Superintendent/Project Manager, contributing to site safety, timely production, and adherence to company standards while supporting administrative and field operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Demonstrated leadership, crew supervision, and task coordination skills.
• Knowledge of commercial construction methods, materials, tools, and equipment.
• Experience with construction layout using automatic levels and transits.
• Understanding of construction safety standards and practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead members of a production crew in safe and efficient construction practices.
• Direct onsite crew work as specified by Superintendent.
• Train laborers and verify progress.
• Provide feedback on crew performance and suggest improvements.
• Report policy violations to Senior Superintendent or admin staff.
• Serve as a primary field communicator and uphold company values and safety standards.
• Support crew advancement and promotions.
