Job summary

Ideal candidates bring 15+ years in construction estimating, a relevant degree, and proficiency with On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, and Timberline. Florida driver license and reliable transport are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years’ related experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration or Civil Engineering preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, and Timberline estimating required.
• Reliable transportation and a Florida Driver License required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares detailed estimates for all design stages: Conceptual, Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documents.
• As lead estimator, manages the estimating team in the assembly and submission of bids to clients.
• Analyzes drawings and specs to determine estimated costs and bid coverage.
• Develops bid packages with input from operations and site logistics.
• Manages the estimating team in bid solicitation to subcontractors and material suppliers.
• Reviews RFP requirements and delegates responsibilities to team; maintains bid calendar.
