Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Configuration Analyst to translate requirements into actionable system settings and workflows across Atlassian platforms, ensuring baseline integrity and regulatory compliance. You will lead CCB activities, maintain baselines, and coordinate with cross‑functional teams to resolve deviations.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in CMDM, a Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility, and strong experience with Jira, Confluence, and related CM tools.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• Minimum 5 years in a Configuration/Data Management (CMDM) role.
• Proven experience leading Configuration Change Board (CCB) meetings.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and documentation.
• Familiarity with ITIL Foundations and configuration management standards.

Responsibilities

• Interpret business and engineering requirements and configure platforms (Jira, Jira Service Management, ProForma, Confluence) to meet those requirements.
• Establish, maintain, and enforce technical baselines; track all configuration changes in the CM database.
• Schedule, facilitate, and document Configuration Control Board meetings; ensure all change proposals are reviewed and recorded.
• Conduct periodic configuration audits and verify compliance with NIST SP800-53, SP800-171, SP800-128.
• Work with Information Assurance, Engineering, Quality Control, and external partners to troubleshoot baseline deviations and drive remediation actions.
• Generate status and tracking reports for management and customers, highlighting configuration health and outstanding issues.
• Provide training and guidance to project teams on configuration management processes and tool usage.
• Maintain and evolve CM tools (e.g., custom Jira workflows, Access databases, SharePoint libraries) to improve identification, control, reporting, and delivery of software baselines.
• Ensure proper handling of export‑control markings and documentation formats where applicable.
