Job summary

Aero Paving & Construction is seeking an experienced Paving Superintendent to lead slipform and fixed-form concrete paving crews in Southeast Louisiana. The role requires coordinating with project leadership, ensuring strict FAA and DoD specifications are met, and maintaining safety and quality in all field operations.

The candidate will travel, work night shifts, and directly supervise crews on active construction sites, including safety oversight, equipment readiness, and productivity

Qualifications

• Develop JSAs and safety plans for each task.
• Conduct daily JSAs and adjust for new tasks.
• Supervise crews to ensure safety and quality.
• Track daily quantities with field measurements.
• Review project plans and documents in the field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee paving crews (slipform and fixed-form) to install concrete paving per FAA/DoD specs.
• Coordinate with leadership to ensure adherence to work plans and safety policies.
• Maintain safety standards, PPE compliance, and incident reporting.
• Manage equipment setup, formwork, and curing operations in the field.
• Complete daily timecards and document progress with photos using project software.
