Job summary

Canyon Contracting is seeking a Foreman to oversee a single concrete project at a time in Wyomissing, PA. You will lead a crew of 3–10 field employees, ensure safety, manage schedules, and coordinate with the Field Superintendent and Project Manager to complete the project within scope and on time.

You will read drawings, prepare daily reports, place concrete orders, develop two-week lookaheads, and conduct weekly toolbox talks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in the concrete construction industry.
• Experience managing 5+ employees on a job site.
• Ability to read drawings, plans, and blueprints and convey this information to others.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Field Superintendent and Project Manager to schedule tasks and equipment.
• Schedule daily tasks and adjust for weather, deliveries, and personnel.
• Provide project status updates to management and Canyon Management.
• Review project scope, submittals, RFIs/ASIs and drawings.
• Write and submit Daily Reports at the jobsite.
• Place concrete and material orders through Canyon website for the assigned job.
• Develop a two week look ahead for the project at the weekly scheduling meeting.
• Lead weekly safety toolbox talks and daily huddles.
• Develop and oversee quality standards on the job site.
• Resolve problems with projects, materials, and employees promptly.
