Job summary

Quality Labor Management, LLC in Fort Mill, SC is seeking a skilled construction lead to build, erect and align concrete structures and foundations. You will lead a crew, ensure safety, inspect work, and coordinate daily task planning in a mostly indoor environment with 40+ hours per week.

The role requires reading blueprints, estimating concrete quantities, forming systems, and finishing surfaces to spec. Strong knowledge of formwork, rebar, and basic carpentry is preferred; travel less than

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Extensive knowledge of concrete construction methods and formwork.
• Ability to read blueprints and calculate areas/volumes.
• Capable of leading a crew and ensuring safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Gives direction to crew on responsibilities and expectations.
• Lead and demonstrates safe work conditions and safe working practices.
• Leads the safety meetings and completes daily JSA.
• Builds, erects and aligns forms for concrete structures and foundations.
• Estimates concrete quantities and mixes if hand mixed.
• Build forms (carpenter work) including stick build, Symons, modular panel systems.
• Cuts and places reinforcing wire mesh, ties rebar, prepares sand and cement mixtures and pours.
• Finishes concrete by floating, troweling, edging and brushing.
• Interprets blueprints and reads survey stakes to establish grades.
• Uses hand tools and small power tools; performs minor maintenance.
• Operates equipment (bobcat, excavator).
• Maintains administrative reports (safety, timesheets).
• Performs other duties.
