Job summary

The Walsh Group, via Archer Western de Moya JV, is seeking a Concrete Finisher Foreman for the Miami Signature Bridge project in Miami, FL. The Foreman will supervise a crew of 3–15 workers, coordinate concrete operations, and ensure quality and safety on site.

Candidates should have 5+ years foreman experience, strong leadership, and the ability to read plans. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and work under diverse weather conditions. Division: Transportation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Foreman/leadership experience preferred.
• 5-8 years of verifiable construction experience required.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities; experience managing crews.
• Ability to communicate effectively with crew, management, subcontractors and vendors.
• Ability to read and understand work plans.
• Requires ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffold/ladder.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may work in adverse weather.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Supervises crews within their specific area or portion of the project.
• Schedules and coordinates activities of assigned craft workers and coordinates with other trades.
• Reads specifications and plans to determine construction requirements; ensures leveling and finishing of concrete surfaces.
• Locates and marks site locations; applies cementitious products and epoxy finishes to concrete surfaces.
• Records information on forms or reports; assists workers on site.
• Inspects progress, equipment and site to verify safety and specifications.
• Ensures adherence to safety policies and drug-free environment; trains workers on policies.
