Responsibilities

• Schedules and assigns daily activities to staff and monitors task completion.
• Trains staff on food safety, sanitation, and cooking methods.
• Cooks and prepares food per guidelines and recipes.
• Sets up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, chopping, and peeling.
• Safely uses all utensils including knives.
• Operates ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Cooks with various methods for meats, vegetables, and other foods.
• Plates and portions food per guidelines and ensures quality.
• Stores food following safety policies and procedures.
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas and equipment.
• Maintains positive guest service and teamwork.
• Follows safety policies and protects company assets.
