Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Concept Design Manager to own the design development of net-new Visual Merchandising initiatives across store formats and promotions. You will visualize fixtures and environments, collaborating with Store Design, Merchandising, Creative, and Operations to elevate the customer experience.

You will translate creative ideas into execution-ready concepts, lead transitions to international markets, and present strategic design recommendations to leadership.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of design/engineering experience, preferably in retail.
• Advanced proficiency in 3D modeling and rendering software.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to travel to stores, vendors, and industry events.

Responsibilities

• Lead design development of new Visual Merchandising initiatives from ideation to concept.
• Visualize fixture, display, and environmental concepts via hand sketching and 3D tools.
• Translate ideas into design concepts communicating form, materiality, and customer experience.
• Lead transitions of concepts to peer teams and international markets.
• Prepare and present design-forward presentations to Leadership.
