Job summary

TRISTAR is seeking a highly motivated Computer Engineer III / Team Lead to guide a diverse technical team and support the Expeditionary Electronic Warfare Intelligence & Cyberspace Operations (EW ICO) program in Bloomington, Indiana.

You will develop architectures, coordinate software and systems engineering, and serve as the primary technical interface with government teams while advancing cybersecurity and program protection efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent).
• Experience developing and maintaining system architectures, interface definitions, and technical documentation.
• Prior leadership experience in a relevant field.
• Must already have or be able to obtain a CompTIA Security Plus certification prior to start date.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret security clearance.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for a multidisciplinary engineering team.
• Develop and maintain system architectures, interface definitions, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate software, DSP, RF, and systems engineering activities.
• Support technical planning, integration, verification, and risk reduction activities.
• Serve as the primary technical interface between the contractor team and the government team.
• Coordinate contractor participation in recurring technical meetings.
• Assist with prioritization of engineering work and technical issue resolution.
• Support cybersecurity and program protection planning activities.
• Communicate effectively with technical and program stakeholders.
• Analyze and decompose complex technical requirements.
