What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide leadership and direction to Compliance Department staff and serve as a consultative subject matter expert
- Mentor junior compliance staff on regulatory responsibilities and internal processes
- Prepare the organization for regulatory engagements, including audits and compliance investigations
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and monitor compliance policies and performance metrics
- Investigate potential compliance risks or violations and document findings appropriately
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited university, or a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with relevant experience
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant engineering experience; or 7 years with a Master's degree; or 6 years with a Doctoral degree
- A Professional Engineer license is required, or 12 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of the license
- Ten years of industry, compliance, legal experience, or other related experience for the Lead Compliance Specialist role
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex projects

- Advanced understanding of the RTO role in the industry
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Advanced understanding of industry compliance requirements
