Job summary

Lamoille County Mental Health Services is seeking a Lead Community Integration Specialist to support individuals with developmental disabilities across community, employment, and in-home settings. The role includes training and mentoring CIS staff and stepping in when others are unavailable.

The position requires at least 1 year of CIS experience in the DS division, with preferred 3+ years as a CIS in the LCMHS DS division, and a valid driver's license for client transportation.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a CIS within the LCMHS Developmental Services division.
• Four years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities; at least 3 years as a CIS in the LCMHS Developmental Services division.
• Valid driver’s license, current automobile registration, and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide support in community, employment, and in-home settings as assigned.
• Train and mentor CIS staff; cover services when a CIS is unavailable.
• Coordinate with the Behavioral Health Director and other managers to improve agency systems.
• Maintain required paperwork and attend relevant trainings.
• Work rotating evening and weekend hours to ensure service coverage.
