Job summary

VectorUSA is seeking a Communications Superintendent to lead installation teams responsible for premise low voltage distribution systems. You will oversee, perform, and train others in installing, maintaining, testing and troubleshooting per Vector’s standards.

The role requires 4–6 years of experience in telecom infrastructure, strong knowledge of topology and intra-building connectivity, and the ability to collaborate with MIS managers and executives.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 4–6 years’ experience installing infrastructure solutions.
• Must be able to read blueprints and engineered designs.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Must pass post-offer drug screen, physical, background check, Livescan.

Responsibilities

• Perform all levels of Telecommunications Technician tasks including outside plant, aerial and underground work.
• Ensure safety procedures for all disciplines.
• Coordinate with customers to provide project status and achieve satisfaction.
• Interpret scopes of work and engineer/distribute solutions as needed.
• Interact with MIS managers, executives, and business owners as a technical consultant.
