EEI in Portland, OR is seeking a Team Leader / Project Manager to guide commissioning, QA, and building performance projects. You will lead a team of professionals, manage client relationships, and drive project delivery from planning to closeout.

The role emphasizes technical excellence, leadership, and growth, with a focus on expanding EEI's presence in Oregon through strategic opportunities and strong client engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with strong technical background.
  • Experience leading project teams and managing technical professionals.
  • Knowledge of MEP systems, controls, commissioning processes, and building performance.
  • Experience in coordinating budgets, schedules, and client relationships.
  • Licensure or certifications preferred (PE, PMP, CCP, CBCP, CxA).

Responsibilities

  • Lead commissioning and quality assurance projects from planning through closeout.
  • Manage budgets, schedules, staffing, resources, and project performance.
  • Serve as primary client contact and coordinate with contractors and vendors.
  • Provide technical leadership for commissioning activities and system verification.
  • Mentor and develop a team of commissioning professionals and support growth.
  • Identify opportunities for new business and service expansion in the Oregon market.
  • Support operations through resource planning, onboarding, and continuous improvement.
