Carter Machinery Co. Inc. is seeking a Commissioning Manager to lead start-up projects, coordinate timelines, and ensure safe, accurate installation of equipment across multiple sites. You will work closely with customers and CMCo technicians to deliver on schedule and within scope.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in construction management.
• Experience installing mechanical and electrical equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Understanding of installation of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Detail oriented; strong written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel and work hours as required.

Responsibilities

• Review project specifications and prepare a work plan for equipment start-up.
• Create project timelines using Gantt, PERT, or similar methods.
• Coordinate delivery and ensure proper installation of equipment.
• Document site status and generate customer progress reports with photos.
• Submit weekly status reports to customers and CMCo Project Manager.
• Supervise installation, start-up, and testing of equipment on site.
• Liaise between customer and CMCo project team to resolve issues.
• Attend site meetings and stay current on product offerings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve continuous improvement.
