Job summary

DMA Engineering, Inc. seeks a hands-on Commissioning & Controls Engineer to lead commissioning and controls delivery across commercial, residential and community projects in Colorado.

You will own the path from design intent to installed, tuned, and verified performance, combining engineering rigor with Tridium Niagara programming and SkySpark analytics. The role offers a hybrid schedule with at least one in-person day per week near Arvada, CO, a base salary range of $75,000–$140,000, profit

Qualifications

• Four years of associated field experience.
• Hands-on experience is highly valued for this position.
• Technical training with ability to earn certifications.
• Demonstrated ability to run and terminate controls wiring in the field.
• Experience with commissioning or controls on projects (2+ years).

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning on new construction and retro-commissioning projects from development to functional testing.
• Write and execute pre-functional checklists and functional test procedures across HVAC, controls, and integrated systems.
• Program Tridium Niagara/JACE controllers, including graphics, schedules, alarms, and integration with third-party devices.
• Build SkySpark dashboards and analytics for ongoing monitoring-based commissioning and M&V.
• Coordinate field wiring, site observations, and coordination with contractors and DMA team.
• Mentor junior staff as the team grows.
