Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Commercial Security Installation Technician II in Sunnyvale, CA to install, program, and configure commercial security systems for enterprise clients. You will troubleshoot installations, supervise junior technicians, and drive to client sites to ensure systems meet contract requirements.

Prerequisites include a high school diploma or equivalent, 2–3 years of field installation experience, and the ability to obtain low voltage licensing.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of experience in physical security installing field devices and managing small jobs.
• Experience with security systems and alarm installations is preferred.
• Ability to obtain state licensing for Low Voltage/Alarm Installer.

Responsibilities

• Install, program and configure commercial electronic security systems for enterprise clients (door access, CCTV, intrusion, low voltage).
• Troubleshoot new security installations to ensure proper function and codes compliance.
• Supervise junior technicians on job sites as assigned by the Manager.
• Drive to client sites with company vehicle and ensure systems operate per contract requirements.
• Connect control panels, wire concealment, and security software installation.
• Complete time entry and job-site clean-up duties as required.
