Now Hiring: Lead Field Service Technician

Are you a skilled and motivated technician looking for a stable career with a top-notch company? Join our team at General Parts, where you'll play a crucial role as a Lead Field Service Technician working on commercial kitchen appliance repairs.

Pay: Varying from $35-45 hourly based on level of experience

• Pay range varying with opportunity to increase pay and promotion to advanced technician levels!

Responsibilities:

1. Utilize troubleshooting skills to install, repair, and maintain commercial cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment.
2. Collaborate with customers to provide effective service solutions for their equipment, including gas, electric, and steam systems.
3. Order and install replacement parts in customer equipment, coordinating with the parts department.
4. Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call duties.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid Driver’s license and driving record that aligns with our safety standards.
• 5 years of relevant experience, education, or military experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, including electronics, steam, gas, and refrigeration.
• Refrigeration technicians must be EPA certified.
• CFESA Certification is a plus but not required.
• Must be highly safety-conscious.
• Moderate to heavy lifting and carrying (up to 75 pounds).
• Requires frequent walking, standing, driving, sitting, squatting, kneeling, reaching overhead, bending, twisting, and turning.
• Must be able to use hands for fine manipulation of hand tools.
