Job summary

All Hours Mechanical, a Southwest Ohio-based HVAC contractor, seeks a Lead Commercial HVAC Retrofit Install Technician to head installation and retrofit projects from blueprint to completion.

Qualifications

• Four+ years in commercial HVAC installation preferred.
• Experience leading retrofit projects from blueprint to completion.
• Proven ability to mentor and manage installation crews.
• Strong knowledge of RTUs, boilers, chillers, VAV, WSHPs, and split systems.
• EPA certification is required; OSHA 10 preferred/required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial HVAC installation and retrofit projects from blueprint to completion.
• Install RTUs, boilers, chillers, VAV systems, WSHPs, and exhaust systems as required.
• Read blueprints and project specifications accurately.
• Lead and support installation crews and coordinate with PMs and other trades.
• Ensure compliance with codes, safety standards, and manufacturer requirements.
• Troubleshoot installation challenges and resolve issues.
• Mentor junior technicians to raise team capabilities.

Position Overview

We're seeking an experienced Lead Commercial HVAC Retrofit Install Technician to lead commercial HVAC installation and retrofit projects from blueprint to completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial HVAC installation and retrofit projects.
• Install RTUs, boilers, chillers, WSHPs, VAV systems, split systems, and exhaust systems.
• Read blueprints, mechanical drawings, and project specifications.
• Lead and support installation crews.
• Coordinate with project managers and other trades.
• Ensure work meets code, safety, and manufacturer requirements.
• Troubleshoot installation challenges and resolve issues.
• Mentor and support junior technicians.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of commercial HVAC installation experience preferred
• Commercial retrofit experience from blueprint to completion
• Previous crew leadership experience preferred
• Experience with RTUs, chillers, boilers, VAV systems, WSHPs, and split systems
• Strong mechanical and blueprint-reading skills
• EPA certification required
• OSHA 10 certification preferred (required within 90 days)
• Valid driver's license
• Strong leadership and communication skills

Compensation

Starting pay: $45+ per hour

Compensation is based on experience, certifications, technical expertise, and leadership ability.

Additional Compensation

• Overtime at 1.5x regular hourly rate
• Double-time holiday pay
• Additional earning potential for highly experienced Lead HVAC Installers
