Job summary

Morris Heating & Cooling is hiring an experienced Lead Commercial HVAC Installer to lead crews on commercial new construction projects across Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. You will read blueprints, troubleshoot field issues, and mentor technicians while ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Commercial HVAC new construction installation experience.
• Experience independently completing commercial HVAC installations.
• Previous lead installer or crew leadership experience.
• EPA Universal Certification – required.
• Kentucky Journeyman License – required.
• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC/R systems and electrical components.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead and support field crews effectively.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly throughout Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial HVAC new construction installations.
• Supervise and support field crews.
• Install commercial HVAC systems, ductwork, controls, and related equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades.
• Troubleshoot installation and system issues.
• Train and mentor technicians in the field.
• Maintain project timelines, workmanship, and productivity.
• Ensure work meets company and OSHA safety standards.
• Complete required installation and project documentation.
• Travel to commercial projects throughout Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.
