Job summary

Kelso Industries in Atlanta, GA seeks a Full-Time Service Technician Electrician to join our Service team, servicing and installing electrical systems per NEC in customer facilities, with on-call rotation 24/7.

The role emphasizes effective communication, OSHA compliance, data entry, and on-site problem solving. Candidates should have 5+ years electrical experience and hold required licenses; a company vehicle and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

Strong commercial and industrial electrical background (5 years or more preferred).
Strong troubleshooting skills utilizing test equipment.
Strong knowledge of the National Electric Code.
Ability to safely operate and maintain a specialized electrical service vehicle (License required with clean MVR).
A professional appearance and conduct at all times.
Ability to manage customer and company information in an organized manner.

Responsibilities

Must be an effective and professional communicator, both written and verbally, filling out daily paperwork correctly.
Respond to a customer’s electrical needs as directed in a professional manner.
Understand and implement OSHA requirements and the company’s safety policies.
Enter data into service management software to update work orders and invoicing.
Troubleshoot malfunctioning systems and determine repairs.
Install systems in accordance with NEC and standards.
Manage resources to control budgets and schedules.
Maintain service vehicle, tools, inventory, and equipment.
Train and develop any personnel assigned to you.
