Job summary

Solid Rock Recruiting, LLC. is seeking an experienced Commercial Drywall Project Manager to lead projects from award to completion in Maryland. You will coordinate with clients, GCs, architects, and subs to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery and high-quality workmanship.

The role requires 3+ years in commercial drywall project management, proficiency with OST, strong scheduling and cost control, and excellent communication. You will mentor field teams and help grow our Division 9 sector.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial drywall or a related field.
• Experience managing multiple commercial construction projects from award through completion.
• Proficiency with On-Screen Takeoff (OST) or similar construction software.
• Strong understanding of schedules, budgets, change orders, RFIs, and project documentation.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide field teams and project partners.
• Excellent communication, organization, and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to build and maintain strong client and general contractor relationships.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality, accountability, and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage commercial drywall projects from inception to completion.
• Collaborate with clients, general contractors, architects, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, resources, and timelines to deliver projects on time and within scope.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and other project documentation.
• Monitor project costs and ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
• Utilize OST or similar construction software to support project management and documentation.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and project partners throughout the project lifecycle.
• Work closely with field teams to ensure quality workmanship, productivity, and successful project execution.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment built around teamwork, accountability, and communication.
