Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations on large commercial projects in the Tampa, FL area. You will coordinate subcontractors, manage schedules, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance from mobilization to project turnover.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of leadership in commercial construction, a proven track record delivering $10M–$100M projects, and a current OSHA 30 certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as Construction Superintendent or equivalent field leadership.
• Experience overseeing commercial projects valued $10M–$100M.
• Valid OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification.
• Proven ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, and submittals.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily on-site construction activities from mobilization through turnover.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to maintain schedule.
• Establish look-ahead plans and monitor progress to meet milestones.
• Enforce safety programs and maintain OSHA compliance on site.
• Perform quality inspections and manage field documentation and RFIs.
• Lead meetings, communicate risks, and drive issue resolution with Project Manager.
