Job summary

Engen Contracting (ECI) is seeking a Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead field operations in the Dallas–Fort Worth market, delivering high‑quality ground‑up and tenant improvement projects. You’ll coordinate trade partners, schedule activities, and ensure safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

The role requires strong leadership, proactive problem‑solving, and the ability to manage complex projects with integrity and accountability. A long‑term career with ECI is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience as a commercial superintendent with a GC.
• Experience leading ground‑up and tenant improvement projects.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Coordinate multiple trade partners and manage safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations from mobilization through project completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules; coordinate trades and inspections.
• Enforce safety policies and manage quality; conduct toolbox talks.
• Prepare daily reports and maintain project documentation in Procore.
• Coordinate with project team, owners, architects, engineers, and inspectors.
