Job summary

Elsdon Group in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion. You will coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, project engineers and superintendents to ensure successful delivery.

The role emphasizes strong budgets, schedules and contract management, along with maintaining client relationships and mentoring the project team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Experience as a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager for a General Contractor.
• Ground-up and/or renovation commercial construction experience.
• Proven ability to manage projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Strong budgets, schedules and contracts understanding.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Based in Houston or surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Managing commercial construction projects from start to finish.
• Overseeing project budgets, schedules and overall performance.
• Managing subcontractors, vendors and project stakeholders.
• Reviewing contracts, plans and specifications.
• Handling RFIs, submittals, change orders and project documentation.
• Maintaining strong client relationships throughout the project.
• Working with the Superintendent to ensure safe, on-time, within-budget delivery.
• Leading and mentoring project team members.
