Job summary

gpac is partnering with a well-established commercial general contractor to hire a Commercial Construction Project Manager in Milwaukee. The role focuses on leading projects from preconstruction to closeout, managing schedules and budgets, and coordinating a diverse team of subcontractors, vendors, architects, and engineers.

You will review contracts and drawings, manage risks, forecast costs, and oversee change orders while ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
• Bid and Develop proposals.
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and contract administration.
• Coordinate subcontractors and leading cross-functional project teams.
• Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and overall execution.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and consultants.
• Facilitate project meetings and provide timely updates to clients and stakeholders.
• Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Proactively identify and resolve project risks, challenges, and scheduling issues.
• Manage project financials, forecasting, cost controls, and change orders.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Build lasting relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
