Job summary

Crimson Group is seeking a Combustion Technician to tune ND burners, troubleshoot complex combustion issues, and optimize system performance at customer sites. You will lead BMS installations and coordinate field activities while mentoring junior technicians.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, emissions awareness, and adapting to varying field environments. Travel to client locations is required, with a Monday–Friday schedule and potential overtime.

Qualifications

Demonstrated competency as a Combustion Technician.
Advanced understanding of ND burner operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Demonstrated ability to independently tune ND burners.
Strong understanding of BMS operation and related components.
Working knowledge of FD burners and controls.
Ability to evaluate customer sites and determine basic combustion system requirements.
Knowledge of applicable regional emissions requirements.
Ability to complete accurate emissions testing and customer reporting.
Ability to lead BMS installation activities.

Responsibilities

Independently tune ND burners to achieve safe, reliable, and optimal performance.
Diagnose and troubleshoot complex burner and combustion issues.
Evaluate burner performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability, and operation.
Lead standard BMS installation activities and coordinate installation work as required.
Assist with startup, commissioning, testing, and optimization of combustion systems.
Travel to customer locations and respond to service requirements as needed.
