Job summary

OUC - The Reliable One is seeking a Combined Cycle Power Generation Engineer to join the Engineering & Operations team. The role supports O&M with project leadership, technical specifications, and capital improvements to ensure safe, reliable generation.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in CCGT operations and a strong background in project execution, safety compliance (LOTO), and performance analyses across HRSG, gas turbines, and steam turbines. PMP/PE preferred; Chemical Engineering preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• Minimum of four (4) years of engineering experience for CCGT plants.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Chemical Engineering degree preferred.
• Registered Professional Engineer preferred.
• PMP Certification preferred.
• Waste water/process water experience preferred.
• Experience designing or optimizing chemical injection systems in power plants preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop/write technical specifications and project scopes; manage budgets and assist Purchasing with RFPs.
• Provide technical support for O&M; review data to ensure safe and efficient generation.
• Supervise plant modifications and contractors during all project phases.
• Write specifications for plant projects.
• Assist Purchasing with RFPs, bid documents, vendor evaluations and negotiations.
• Prepare justification of plant projects based on safety, environmental, and economic criteria.
• Review plans, drawings, safety procedures, LOTO requirements, and maintenance manuals; manage inventories and contracts.
• Inspect test results and process data to ensure best practices.
• Troubleshoot plant processes to identify root causes and repair.
