Job summary

Hanwha Defense USA, Inc. is seeking a senior technician/lead for maintenance, modification, and upgrade activities on combat vehicles and subsystems.

You will supervise installation of modification kits, prototype components, and engineering change packages while coordinating prototyping and development builds with engineers, FSRs, and logistics staff. You will manage diagnostics, shop operations, and equipment use, ensuring safe, efficient performance and readiness.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or military training in electronics, automotive, or mechanical systems; leadership experience preferred.
• Extensive experience repairing combat vehicles or heavy mechanical/electrical systems; ability to mentor.
• Strong understanding of subsystems and their interactions in combat vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Supervise repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of vehicle systems.
• Oversee installation of modification kits and engineering change orders.
• Direct integration of prototype components and experimental hardware for testing.
• Lead prototyping activities and system integration.
• Manage teardown, repair, and testing of vehicle subsystems.
