Job summary

MEDLOG Cold Storage, a leader in cold chain, is hiring a Cold Storage Warehouse Supervisor for 1st shift in Rincon, GA. You will oversee daily operations in a high-volume temperature-controlled facility, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency.

Responsibilities include overseeing loading, inventory health, KPI tracking, staff scheduling, and coordination with QA, logistics, and customer service. A weekend rotation and flexible hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a cold storage supervisory or lead role.
• High school diploma or GED; additional certifications in food safety or logistics a plus.
• Strong knowledge of BRCGS, HACCP, FSIS, and OSHA regulations.
• Proven ability to manage high-volume operations with attention to detail and time management.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, work independently, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Willingness to work weekend rotations and flexible hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee blast cell management, product handling, and storage procedures.
• Monitor and maintain inventory health, including FIFO/FEFO practices and traceability.
• Track and report on warehouse KPIs such as order accuracy, throughput, and shrink.
• Lead, train, and schedule warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
• Promote a culture of safety and accountability in line with OSHA standards.
• Open and close the facility as needed, ensuring security and operational readiness.
• Prepare reports, maintain records, and communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
• Coordinate with logistics, quality assurance, and customer service departments.
