AFC Materials Group in Lake in the Hills, IL is seeking a Lead Coating Operator for the 2nd shift to lead the coating team and operate coating equipment while upholding safety and quality standards.

Competenze

• 2+ years of manufacturing or production experience required.
• Previous lead, trainer, or supervisory experience required.
• Coating or converting experience a plus- we will train the right person.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (or team-lift up to 100 lbs).
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn internal systems.
• Willingness to obtain forklift certification.

About this position

Lead Coating Operator - 2nd Shift

Location: Lake in the Hills, IL

Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 / hr + Shift Differential

Current Schedule: 2nd Shift- Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

Upcoming Schedule Transition:
We are in the process of transitioning to a 12-hour day/night shift schedule by the end of the year. Employees in this role will need to be able to transition to our Night Shift rotating schedule once this shift transition is implemented.

• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts, 3 days per week -Rotating Bi-Weekly)

Training Requirement: All new hires are required to train on 1st shift or 2nd shift for the first 30-90 days of employment before transitioning to their assigned schedule.
