Job summary

Relativity Space in Long Beach, CA is seeking a results-driven leader for the Machine Shop, owning multiple CNC operator teams and advancing manufacturing excellence on the Terran R program.

You'll mentor team leads, drive longer-term ops strategy on the shop floor, and collaborate with engineering and design to push part quality, schedule adherence, and throughput. This role starts 5am-3:30pm PT on weekdays, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience identifying manufacturing process gaps and analyzing their impact on the production system.
• Experience administrating/delegating daily work assignments to your team.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Responsibilities

• Full ownership and accountability over several teams of CNC operators.
• Lead the team of people leaders for the Ops floor.
• Support longer-term strategic operations on the shop floor.
• Mentor and coach your team to develop their personal career goals.
