Job summary

Primus Aerospace is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to drive 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining programs for diverse aerospace components. The role covers ownership of equipment, tools, fixtures, and workflow within a dedicated work cell, guiding setup staff and cross-functional teams.

Require 5+ years of CNC programming exp., strong GD&T, print-reading, math skills, and proficiency in Mastercam, BobCAD-CAM, Fusion 360, and Esprit CAM. Safety, quality, and teamwork are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of CNC programming experience.
• Experience programming 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines using CAM software.
• Strong GD&T and print-reading skills.
• Solid math abilities and work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC mills and lathes for 3,4,5 axis work.
• Own equipment and daily job functions, fixtures, and work flow.
• Lead set-up machinists, operators, and deburr staff.
• Meet productivity, quality, and delivery metrics.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and project teams.
• Maintain safe, positive, and engaging work environment.
• Identify training needs and tooling recommendations.
• Apply GD&T and best machining practices.
• Improve cycle times and part quality per standards.
