FERPA Precision Machine, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a CNC Mill Machinist/Programmer with strong Mastercam skills.

In this dual‑role position, you’ll program and machine precision components from blueprint to final part—programming toolpaths in Mastercam, setting up CNC mills, and producing components that meet demanding specifications. Lead and scale our milling department by owning day‑to‑day scheduling and continuous improvement, while remaining hands‑on at the machine and in Mastercam.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of hands-on milling experience.
• Proficient in Mastercam programming for 3-axis and 4-axis CNC milling.
• Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming.
• U.S. Person status for ITAR access.

Responsibilities

• Program and machine setup, and produce parts per blueprints.
• Inspect parts with micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Configure tool offsets and machine settings for accuracy.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to guide operations.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work area in a lean environment.
