Job summary

FCS Curtiss Wright Flow Control Service LLC is seeking a CNC Machinist (Staff) in Middleburg Heights, OH. You will set up, operate, and adjust machines to produce quality parts from blueprints, using mills, lathes, and CNC equipment.

The role requires 4+ years of CNC/manual mill/lathe experience, High School/GED, and knowledge of Mazak turning centers. The company offers a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• Technical/Trade School preferred.
• Mazak Turning Centers experience preferred.
• Thread Rolling experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull 50 lbs.
• Experience with stainless steels and high-temperature alloys.
• PC skills are a plus; Lift truck experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manufactures and inspects detailed parts from blueprints and drawings using mills, lathes, drill presses and related equipment.
• Works from blueprints and process sheets; writes and proves CNC programs.
• Troubleshoots processes to improve throughput and reduce variability.
• Take dimensional inspections and interpret results against blueprints.
• Ensure quality and accuracy of all work; follow shop safety procedures.
• Must work overtime and weekends as needed.
