Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate or apprenticeship preferred.
• 5+ years CNC machining with complex setups and process optimization.
• Experience with multi-axis or live-tooling is strongly preferred.
• Proficient in interpreting blueprints and GD&T; strong quality focus.
• Forklift and crane operation experience may be required.

Responsibilities

• Create from new and perform complex setups (multi-op, tight tolerances).
• Make advanced on-control program edits; collaborate with CAM/post teams.
• Engineer workholding and tooling strategies; design fixtures/jigs when needed.
• Optimize feeds/speeds, sequencing, and tool paths for cycle time and tool life.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for machining defects.
• Lead on-machine trials and document best practices; support FAIs.
• Drive setup-time reduction, scrap reduction, and process repeatability.
• Safely operate forklifts and cranes; perform operator PM checks as required.
