The role emphasizes safety, 6S, and documentation, with a full-time schedule and opportunities to work across machines including mills and lathes. Strong hands-on craftsmanship and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with post-secondary technical education preferred.
• 8+ years in manufacturing, with at least 4 years in CNC programming and machining.
• Experience mentoring or leading junior machinists is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate CNC machines to meet precise specifications.
• Interpret blueprints and specs; verify dimensions with inspection equipment.
• Mentor junior machinists and collaborate with engineering to resolve issues.
• Maintain 6S and safe, clean work area.
• Complete documentation for operations.
