The Lead Machinist position will be based out of Rocket Lab's headquarters in Long Beach, CA. This person will report to the Fabrication Supervisor and develop a high performing team responsible for machining and fabrication of a wide variety of parts supporting multiple programs across Rocket Lab. You will interface with teams including Supply Chain, CNC Programming, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Design, and Propulsion. Your team will handle fabrication for Electron, Rutherford, Neutron, Archimedes, and Space Systems.
Level and base salary will be determined case-by-case, considering experience and skills. Base salary range in CA: $35—$50 USD.
