About The Role
LEAD CNC MACHINIST – B SHIFT
The Lead Machinist position will be based out of Rocket Lab's headquarters in Long Beach, CA. This person will report to the Fabrication Supervisor and develop a high performing team responsible for machining and fabrication of various parts supporting multiple programs across Rocket Lab. You will interface with teams including Supply Chain, CNC Programming, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Design, and Propulsion. Your team will be responsible for Electron, Rutherford, Neutron, Archimedes, and Space Systems fabrication.
