Job summary

Heico is seeking a Lead CNC Machinist in New Hampshire to oversee the production of complex aluminum components for aerospace/defense. You will train and lead machinists in the work cell and report directly to the Manufacturing Supervisor/Manager.

The role requires setting up, proving out, in-process inspection, and continual improvement in a climate-controlled facility with advanced equipment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC experience.
• Ability to lead other machinists.
• Detail-oriented with quality focus.
• Experience with aluminum components and aerospace/defense.
• Ability to interpret drawings and setup sheets.
• Edit programs on Fanuc controls.
• Demonstrated ability to solve technical problems.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and prove out machined components to first piece acceptance.
• Train employees and provide performance feedback to Supervisor.
• Operate multiple CNC milling machines and perform in-process inspection.
• Provide department updates and reports to Supervisor.
• Participate in continuous improvement.
• Provide first-line technical support to machinists for issues.
• Promote a culture of safety within the work cell.
• Other duties as assigned.
