Job summary

Nightingale at Stonegate is seeking a high-energy Lead CNA to support our day-shift nursing team in a skilled nursing environment. This role is perfect for a Certified Nursing Assistant who excels in resident care and communicates confidently in a leadership/support position.

You will provide hands-on resident care per care plans, mentor new CNAs, coordinate unit workflow, and act as a communication hub between CNAs, nurses, and leadership to uphold resident safety and dignity.

Qualifications

• Active Arkansas CNA certification required.
• Experience in skilled nursing/long-term care mandatory.
• Prior leadership or shift-lead experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable and professional with patient-care focus.

Responsibilities

Nightingale at Stonegate is seeking a high-energy, experienced Lead CNA to support our day-shift nursing team. This role is perfect for a Certified Nursing Assistant who excels in resident care, communicates confidently, and thrives in a leadership/support position within a skilled nursing environment.

What You’ll Do

• Provide exceptional hands‑on care to residents in accordance with care plans and facility standards

• Support CNAs on the unit with workflow, assignments, and daily coordination

• Serve as a point person for communication between CNAs, nurses, and leadership

• Assist with onboarding, mentoring, and guiding new CNAs

• Promote a positive, team-focused environment and uphold high standards of resident safety and dignity

• Ensure documentation is accurate, timely, and compliant with facility policies

• Help maintain smooth unit operations during the day shift

What We’re Looking For

• Active CNA certification (Arkansas)

• Experience in skilled nursing/long-term care required

• Prior leadership, shift‑lead, or mentor experience strongly preferred

• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills

• Reliable, professional, and committed to excellent resident care
