Description
IBSS Corporation is seeking a Lead CMMC Certified Assessor (CCA) Consultant to lead CMMC certification assessments for DoD contractors and ensure the assessments comply with CMMC, DFARS 252.204-7012, and 32 CFR Part 170 requirements. The Lead CCA Consultant manages the assessment team, coordinates with C3PAO management, and serves as the primary contact with the OSC (Organization Seeking Certification). This position is part-time.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direction to C3PAO assessment teams.
  • Conduct CMMC assessments.
  • Manage assessment team activities, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Ensure objectivity, consistency, and completeness of all assessment results.
  • Communicate findings and coordinate remediation discussions with OSCs.
  • Ensure assessments are performed in compliance with DFARS and CMMC guidelines.

Required Skills /Education/ Certifications & Qualifications:
  • Deep knowledge of the CMMC model, CMMC assessment process, and DFARS 252.204-7012.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage assessment conflicts and maintain independence.
  • Hold an active CCA certification.
  • Have at least five (5) years of cybersecurity experience.
  • Have five (5) years of cybersecurity-related management experience.
  • Have at least three (3) years of cybersecurity audit or cybersecurity assessment experience.
  • Hold an active CISA, CISSP, or equivalent certification.
