Job summary
AnaVation LLC is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to join our Reston, VA team. You will represent the engineering group in customer meetings, plan quarterly Agile commitments, and drive roadmaps for modernization across AWS and on-premises environments.
You will mentor engineers, manage staffing and licensing, and ensure delivery across 10 core services for government customers. On-site in Reston, with SCI eligibility and polygraph readiness required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related technical field
- 8–12 years of relevant technical experience
- 4+ years leading AWS cloud development modernization and production delivery
- 4+ years leading Linux development engineering and production delivery
- Experience with Government programs and RMF A&A processes
- Clearance: SCI Eligible, willingness to obtain polygraph
Responsibilities
- Represent the engineering team in customer meetings
- Plan quarterly Agile Development Planning commitments
- Drive technology roadmaps for the program
- Mentor senior, mid-level, and junior engineers
- Plan staffing, software licensing, and hosting capacity for roadmap projects
- Supervise 5–7 direct reports including performance reviews and interviews
