Job summary

Orb is seeking its first dedicated Security Engineer to own the hands-on security of our platform handling sensitive revenue data. You will secure infrastructure, code, and delivery pipelines in AWS, collaborating with the engineering lead and Adyen's security organization.

You'll shape security practices across IAM, threat modeling, and automated controls, while enabling developers and AI agents to operate safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software or security engineering.
• Strong hands-on background securing cloud-native systems (AWS preferred).
• Depth across application security, IAM, vulnerability management, and detection/response.

Responsibilities

• Own app and infrastructure security across our AWS environment, review designs and code, fix issues.
• Own identity and access from least-privilege IAM to auditable production access for engineers and AI agents.
• Set a security baseline for the engineering org and turn fixes into durable controls.
