Job summary

Optimum Communications Inc. is seeking a Lead Cloud Security Engineer to secure our cloud infrastructure across public cloud environments. You will design architectures, deploy security controls, and drive incident response while mentoring a team of engineers.

The role requires 5–7 years in cloud security with hands-on CSPM, vulnerability management, SIEM, and IAM expertise, in a fast-paced telecom setting. Plano, TX-based on-site role with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 7+ years in IT with 5-7 years in cloud security engineering.
• Hands-on with CSPM, vulnerability mgmt, IDS/IPS, SIEM, DLP, WAF, CASB.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure cloud architectures.
• Deploy cloud security tools and enforce controls.
• Monitor, detect, and respond to cloud security incidents.
• Mentor engineers and lead security initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS.
